Walled Lake Market Day

The girls last summer dance show. So glad it's all over until dance starts in 2 weeks. Though, I'm not sure what Kailey will be taking now that she wants to figure skate, and Jesse is talking about switching dance days to Friday rather than Saturday which makes that a complete PITA for me.

Market Day was okay. We bought some product from a local farmer, the corn was awesome! And I saw some friends I haven't seen in awhile. Once home we made dinner and cleaned up our back yard and met our new neighbors. We're going to have a "tear down the bush line" party which I'm so excited for!! We hate that bush line, but there's so much of it that it was impossible for Jesse to do himself. Then I'm going to rent a wood chipper and put that in my front weed bed. I need to get everything put together around here for Dylan's birthday party.

Saturday

First off, two carseat rearfacing is possible and does work in my truck! Yahoo!

I am done baby clothes shopping for Riley. I got a fabulous deal on a ton of clothes from a highschool friend who was having a garage sale. She charged me 20.00 for the bag and know I feel I ripped her off! LOL I just need his lamp, baby book, baby box, and some odds and ends.

Ashlyn's school shopping is done, I finished her up last night with her tights. Kailey just needs tights, socks, and maybe a pair of pants or two. I can wait on those though. Ayden needs a couple pair of pants. Dylan needs a lot. I just got him two colder weather outfits and hope I can wait to shop for him a few more weeks. Took the kids to the mall yesterday and got their shoes. Boy those are a rip off! Good thing we had some BOGO going on!

Question of the Day

How do I fit 2 rearfacing carseats in the middle row of my truck and still able to get 2 kids in the back? That IS the question! I need to get outside with my carseats and figure this one out!

Nesting - no idea what that is!

Seems like all I'm doing is cleaning, organizing, moving stuff around, and buying stuff. Oh well, it all needs to be done anyway! This weekend I'm finishing up the school shopping and getting the sink for the bathroom. Then I'm cropping at LM, then Jesse keeps mentioning going to Grand Rapids for the day...bleh.

I had a fabulous time at Treehouse and was so relaxed! I got 14 layouts done. I'll be uploading those to my other blog probably Sunday.

Britax Cover is on it's way!

I've been trying to find a new Marathon cover for Dylan. Ashlyn's Marathon had a girly cover on it, so I had to find a boyish one for replace it. I didn't like many of them but got lucky on ebay and found one that will go nicely with the cover that's on Dylan's Decathlon. Riley will be using the Decathlon and Dylan will be moving into the Marathon. It's being mailed in the morning!

So ready for the weekend!

The kids were a nightmare today. They lost all their sports/dance, which I feel horrible about. Kailey was dropping tap, continue ballet and jazz and was going to start to ice skate. Ashlyn was going to take tap and ballet. Ayden was going to continue Atoms and possibly join the hockey team in the New Year. Now they have to earn back one dance class each and Atoms. :( Unfortunately, nothing else is working to correct their behavior. Kailey even told me she hated me today, though she did apologize later. Then a few hours later called Ashlyn stupid. Ayden and Ashlyn were kicking and yelling at each other. It's just sucked! They are so sick of each other and school can't start fast enough!

On to the remodel: The bathroom toilet was installed on Sunday and I cleaned the hell out the bathroom sink so it's now a functional bathroom. We'll be getting a pedestal sink in a week or so and that will make it so much better! More room and everything.

We gotten two roof estimates so far and our final guy is coming out on Saturday and then we'll make a decision and get that under way. Then next year, the house will absolutely be getting painted.

Busy, Busy

Yesterday I almost finished up the school shopping!! YAY! Jesse and I got a toilet for our bathroom to atleast make it functional since we're fighting with the kids over the other bathroom. Today I want to go to BRU and finish up Riley shopping. Not sure if that's going to happen, I feel guilty over all the money I spent yesterday.
We also got our first roof estimate yesterday and have another guy coming today. I can't wait until this is all taken care of, then next will be getting the house painting, probably next summer. We could hire the guy across the street for that.

Sorting Baby Clothes

0-3 months is a piece of cake since I got rid of most of Dylan's. But since Dylan was in 0-3 for sooo long, all I have for 3-6 months are summer clothes. That is not going to work for a December baby. I think more shopping is in order for some colder weather 3-6. This was so easy with the girls since their birthday's are only 3 weeks apart. I didn't have to buy anything! I'm hoping Riley will follow in Dylan's growing curve so I can make all these clothes work.

23w Midwife Appointment

Wow, I can't believe I'm 23w already! Uterus is measuring 23w, weight is STILL 158lbs, blood pressure is normal and urine is good! Today my pubic bone is feeling MUCH better too!

22w1d Belly

Compared to my 22w belly with Dylan, I'm carrying Riley higher and I'm smaller!

Sitting In Riley's Room

and I'm wondering what he will look like? Is he going to be smaller than Dylan or as big as Ayden? Will he even have hair, or be bald like Ashlyn? Red or Blonde? Hmmmm, I can't wait to see him and hold him.
